The Official DCU Thread

Dunno how I feel about the international projects. Im not completely against them, but I'd probably rather them be American productions with flashbacks to their origin country. Don't necessarily want to read an entire series featuring the huntress. Unless I'm convinced by reviews that it's a must watch.
 
So was his character sold to this company after the animated series? Who put that out?

WB put out the show. Which owns DC. The whole rights thing is incredibly confusing. I dont understand the whole "they get publishing rights, but can't use him in whatever scenario." There was a event in DC where the milestone characters got put into the dc universe. Static joined the teen titans, then down the line he even had his own comic in the new 52 that lasted like 8 issues I think. But I'm not sure if hes still in the main continuity anymore.

Yeah that’s super confusing and stupid. Just give him back to DC so he can be used properly instead of just doing nothing with him.
 
Saw that Gunn has been talking to coogler

Probably means nothing but if it did, who would y'all want for him to bring to the screen?

I know it won't happen but I would like to see a proper cyborg film with the actor that played in him the synder cut

After reviews I've seen, give him a Mr Terrific solo flick.

Static would be dope too of course.

Maybe some episodes of Lanterns

Sony did the same shit with marvel.

That's why it took so long to do mutants, spiderman, and another hulk movie....

Comics always got shit going. There was a Batman embargo where they couldn't use mad characters.... Prolly why never did a proper Nightwing until the Titans series

They haven't did a proper Robin, do that first.
