It’s not just that… some companies be trying get over on you and not competitive with their wages to maximize profit yet want you to take all the risk. Why would they pay you a livable wage (401k, insurance, taxes etc). All while maintained yearly certs because when it makes them more appealing especially when it comes to bidded work. Then they can just cut the wages down and hire a Juan that will just happy with scraps and not paying into all that.
