You're right. A cast of good players doesn't make a super team. But when your 3 best players are all considered the top or near the top of their position then yeah you've got the recipe for a superteam. Add in a hall of famer off the bench and yeah it qualifies.
Yeah I'm going to need to see who all of you think are superstars throughout history.

Being ranked high at your position does not make you a superstar. Wade never did it without an actual superstar by his side. Bosh was never going to be 1A on a title team. You're describing a well put together team that is still anchored by a single superstar.

The ‘08 Celtics was the blueprint for the LeHeattles. Not a Big 3 my black ass.

I think they are on the line. They were definitely star players, but all three were on the decline when they got together. So I can see both sides of the argument with. That's a different beast that 3 superstars getting together in their prime with two of those players being top 5 in the league at the time. Even in their primes, I don't think KG, Pierce, or Allen were Top 5.

You could make a case for KG top 5 in his prime with Minnesota.

In 04', in KG MVP season. I'll say top 5 players at the time would be Kobe, Shaq, KG, Tmac and Duncan...no order

Miami was definitely a super team. All three players were franchise players and in their prime of their career

It works better if they fit together and you can surround them around with quality role players. Bosh had to alter his game and Wade and LeBron relied on getting close to the basket.

That's what happens when you have three top tier players though. Bosh and Wade were good enough to adjust their games a needed. Lebron was the only one that didn't have to change. Everyone adjusted to him, and MIA did have good role players. I agree you can't just throw any 3 superstars together and expect it to work. MIA and BOS had the right combinations.
