That win record was set the 2nd year they won the title not the 1st. Which would be the 3rd year that big 3 was together with a different roster. Your dislike of Bron is well stated, but at least be accurate lol

My mistake. I could have sworn that was their first year. That doesn't really change anything though. The topic is about whether or not MIA was a superteam with the Big 3, so the accomplishment still counts. Yes, it was a different team than the first year, but Rich Paul wasn't even talking about the first year. He specified Bosh being used as a role player, which didn't happen until the second year.

And you don't have to bring up my dislike for Lebron every time we post. I don't deny it. Everybody knows it. It doesn't bolster your arguments at all. As a matter of fact, you didn't even make an argument this time. You seemed to want to post for no other reason but to correct me (which is fine) and announce for the thousandth time that I dislike Lebron. That's not breaking news man.

Absolutely not. I have been saying for a minute that the "superteam" was all marketing. The same with how often the label "superstar" is applied to players who are simply pretty good. It's all marketing so that more teams have something to promote beyond basketball.

Wade was a great player, no doubt, but he was not a true superstar like Kobe or Lebron. He alone could not carry a team of good players to a title. Only superstars can do that. Bosh was a very good player, but no where near being the superstar capable of carrying a team to a title with a cast of just good players.

Lebron James is a superstar. He is capable of carrying a decent roster to a title, so if he has a good roster, expect multiple titles.

Even the Warriors with KD wasn't a super team. The Warriors were notorious for not having a real closer and were vulnerable to sloppy turnovers during crunch time. Steph is a great player...not a true superstar. Klay is a good player, but could never create his own offense. The Warriors needed KD, it's unfortunate they let egos mess up a surefire dynasty.

But yeah, people overrate a lot of players and you can tell they don't watch the games.
This all cap

This the Hall of Cap bruh

Man y'all typing way too many words to say the number 1 options for 3 different teams are now on the same team. Yes they are a super team and Rich and coon his way back to his wife

I posted in this thread that he's wrong and that they were a super team already and responded to somebody making a silly argument that they weren't. I was just fucking with you with that post nigga. It ain't that serious lol

I posted this in another thread, and I absolutely hated this nigga because Fuck Duke 24/7, but Shane Battier is the reason Bosh got so good at shooting 3s. It'll always be sad that the blood clots ended his career because him and Whiteside as a big man combo would've been interesting to see.

It ain't so much just this topic. You're always through my dislike for Lebron in my face as if that in and of itself in an argument. It's not. If I make a mistake with some shit, I just made a mistake. It ain't Lebron Derangement Syndrome clouding my judgement. lol

I don't know my nigga. You see his name and just go off lol. It's hilarious.

Don't do that. I go off on a lot of shit on here. lol

I actually dislike Lebron's stans more than him though. Rich Paul, Shannon Sharpe, and Nick Wright get on my nerves. Seeing Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharp have a cat fight on TV over who rides Lebron's dick the best was both hilarious and disgusting.

Nick Wright isn't annoying to me because he's honest about his bias but also in his criticism. He can actually be objective. Perk is trying to be mini Stephen A. But every great player has annoying ass stans and haters that distort things to either inflate or take away from a players legacy. There's things certain players get a pass for that others get raked over the coals for.

Bruh, no. Nick Wright makes arguments like this:

  1. He picked two arbitrary ages and declares that Bron was better at those ages, so that somehow means he's better.
  2. He said when MJ was in his first season getting swept in Rd 1, Lebron was going to the Finals. I'm assuming he's still making an age argument because Lebron didn't even make it to the playoffs his first season.
  3. Then he says all Lebron's championships came against Top 15 talent. That's a lie. Miami didn't have any Top 15 players. I doubt Butler will even make it to the HoF. Meanwhile, every team Jordan faced had at least one HoFer on the team.
His bad arguments aside, the reason Nick is the worst out of the bunch is because he knows that everything he said in the clip was wrong or deceptive. He's basically like one of these Trump supporters that knows Trump is full of shit but still gets up there and lies in support of them. I much prefer the dummies that don't know any better over the people that do know better but still choose to lie.

Nah they were all super teams. Wade broke down by the 4th year but they were definitely a super team. Especially when they had Ray Allen coming off the bench.

Same with the Warriors. Peak KD and Steph and Klay. Draymon when he could actually shoot and make layup. Nobody was beating that team
Having a cast of good players is not a superteam. Good players are necessary for winning, that's just logic. Having a coaching staff that knows how to put together a winning system is not a superteam, it's just one way to win.

The Warriors drafted the perfect players and then had a system in place to perfectly compliment those players. It was a perfect storm that worked until the rest of the league caught up. They needed KD because every team needs a reliable isolation player to close games. That's not Steph or Klay, but it was KD.

I bet if you all named who you believe are superstars throughout NBA history, most of those players would really just be good to great players, but few actual superstars.

I don't think there has actually ever been a superteam. If Wemby teams up with Shai and Joker, that's a superteam. Prime Lebron, 1st or 2nd year Wade or Rose, and KG. That's a superteam, but even then we're talking about a past his prime KG.

You're right. A cast of good players doesn't make a super team. But when your 3 best players are all considered the top or near the top of their position then yeah you've got the recipe for a superteam. Add in a hall of famer off the bench and yeah it qualifies.

Rich Paul is a great friend, cuz great friends defend your name when they have to.

Michael Jordan is Michael.
Kobe is kobe

Dwayne Wade is a legend. Battyman today, but today was an absolute nightmare at the two because of how athletic and slick he was. Chris Bosh was an amazing player and at the time? Easily a top ten player around that time. So they were a super team and it’s okay to admit that. Rich knows that LeBron has played with a lot of talented players and knows how that looks on his résumé. It is what it is.
