The agenda of Miami not being a super team has been getting pushed more lately.

Do you agree or disagree?

First year I can argue it wasn’t but some can argue it was just because of the big 3

Also the shit the Celtics got currently is way more potent than what the Heat did

Rich Paul is so full of shit. He claims it wasn't a Big 3 because Bosh only played a role. He leaves out the fact that Bosh was forced into that role because Lebron didn't have the skill set to play well with Bosh in the middle. That's not me saying that. Lebron admitted as much on his podcast. On top of that, what kind of player can go from playing post his whole career to being a successful 3 pt spot up shoot literally from one season to the next? That's not a role player. That's a high-level player. It takes superstar talent to do something like that.

This is why it's getting harder for me to take Lebron in the GOAT debate seriously. All his supporters have to lie and bend the truth to make his case. That's not a good look. MIA had 3 of 5 best players in the East during a time when the Eastern Conference was weak. Of course that was a superteam. They basically had a punched ticket to the Finals every year.

Nah you cannot argue that about the first year, we were living that shit
If you wanna just say those 3 together automatically creates a super team I won’t argue it but the supporting cast is my argument IIRC it was like

Rio
Haslem
James jones
Ilgauskas
Dampier
Bibby
Miller
Joel Anthony

Yuck

Rosters definitely uglier than I remember but they were every bit of a super team, if nothing else for the plays they made on the court. All those full court passes, alley oops and all that "razzle dazzle" shit they were doing... remember that? Lmao

Lol nigga what

Them niggas had a pep rally, I live tv decision, they were called the fucking heatles

The end of miami/torontos season were shady af not that that point matters... but Wade inexplicably didnt come back in the game after getting dinged or something in cant remember vividly and there was something with Toronto thati cant quiet remember

These cats were in their Primevand were 3 of the top 15 players in the league

now compare that roster to the Celtics last season lol

But yeah I won’t argue if it was considered a super team

Also Rich Paul sounds like an idiot

He talking out his ass. Bron himself has said it was a super team. The only time I saw anybody try to argue differently was because of how they gutted the roster that 1st year. But it was still a super team

Of course they were, anyone telling you differently clearly has an agenda. That said all super teams are not built the same. Miami was built like the 70s 6ers not like 10s Warriors or the 00s Celtics

How is that yuck? Chalmers and Haslem rounded out the starting 5 well, and the rest of the people you named were decent role players and bench guys. Ya'll act as if that team didn't set a record for most consecutive wins that year? They were dominant. Then they got to the Finals and Lebron shit the bed and now people turn around and act like the team wasn't that good. We have to stop this bullshit. lol

Absolutely not. I have been saying for a minute that the "superteam" was all marketing. The same with how often the label "superstar" is applied to players who are simply pretty good. It's all marketing so that more teams have something to promote beyond basketball.

Wade was a great player, no doubt, but he was not a true superstar like Kobe or Lebron. He alone could not carry a team of good players to a title. Only superstars can do that. Bosh was a very good player, but no where near being the superstar capable of carrying a team to a title with a cast of just good players.

Lebron James is a superstar. He is capable of carrying a decent roster to a title, so if he has a good roster, expect multiple titles.

Even the Warriors with KD wasn't a super team. The Warriors were notorious for not having a real closer and were vulnerable to sloppy turnovers during crunch time. Steph is a great player...not a true superstar. Klay is a good player, but could never create his own offense. The Warriors needed KD, it's unfortunate they let egos mess up a surefire dynasty.

But yeah, people overrate a lot of players and you can tell they don't watch the games.

That win record was set the 2nd year they won the title not the 1st. Which would be the 3rd year that big 3 was together with a different roster. Your dislike of Bron is well stated, but at least be accurate lol

Nah they were all super teams. Wade broke down by the 4th year but they were definitely a super team. Especially when they had Ray Allen coming off the bench.

Same with the Warriors. Peak KD and Steph and Klay. Draymon when he could actually shoot and make layup. Nobody was beating that team
