Lebron Steps To Stephen A Smith For Talking About His Son

The media act like children who do those videos with their parents when they leave a cookie or a piece of candy in front of them and tell them not to touch it and they say okay, but the moment they turn away they eat it.

Bronny James is the 55th pick. This is not a story, it’s just something to talk about and the media can’t help but to talk about it because they don’t have to have integrity when it comes to anything. Him not doing well is expected, he’s a rookie and is coming off a heart issue. Which is why I believe LeBron is right first his issue. This ain’t a story. They make it a story.

When the news talks about murders, prices being raised on goods, issues with the weather and shit like that? Those are stories. His son not playing well isn’t a story. So there is no reason you bringing him up other than to dump on LeBron, and it’s not his place or really anybody else’s to bring up him as a father and what he does.

The problem with what you're saying is that Lebron is the reason his son and Lebron knows that. Plenty of sons of ex-players have come through and they weren't even talked about until they started making noise. Bronny was front page news by Lebron's design. He can't be mad at the media for that.

This shows me people don't even listen. Not comprehending the information that's given. Stephen A Smith, never spoke bad about Bronny. He was questioning Lebron parenting, which he can be upset about. But, when he confronted Stephen, Lebron made it seem like it was all about Bronny. Then Lebron tells Richard Jefferson he doesn't care about the criticism of Bronny he had an issue when Stephen A was questioning him as a Father to stop this.
 
It's funny how much attention a 2nd round pick is getting from the media. The Lakers had the right to choose whoever they wanted in the draft. The media is milking this whole ordeal because it's Lebron and honestly the Lakers taking him in the 2nd round isn't that big of a deal. Most 2nd round picks don't make an NBA roster and the few that do, rarely stick in the league for a second contract.

you barely hear the media talk about any of the draft picks in general from this class which is a damn shame. All this stuff is another shining example of how bad the coverage of the NBA is and how it shapes the views and what's deemed as important to casual fans of this league. SMH. if the young man never plays meaningful minutes on an NBA floor he will be just like the many before and after him who was drafted in the 2nd round...

Once in a lifetime opportunity? You're just saying anything now. How could it be a once in a lifetime opportunity when he could have entered the draft this year and played with his father next NBA season?

Even if Bronny wanted to enter the league just much and as soon as Lebron wanted him, it was his father's responsibility to step in and save his son from a big mistake by insisting that he go back to school. Now he's gonna have to deal with the stigma of Lebron getting him in the league when he wasn't ready. This could last his whole career and beyond.

I said that if Bronny had waited a year, he would not have been subject to the ridicule that he's been subjected to. How does the video you posted speak to that. It doesn't.

Anyway, I could take down the vid by going through it point by point. For example, if you are going to look at who they could have picked instead, why look at just those who were drafted after him? There were undrafted players that they could have drafted too. At the time, I put out two players who I think the Lakers should have drafted instead (I follow the draft process closely): Justin Edwards and Keshad Johnson, both of whom have already been signed to regular contracts, which is unusual for undrafted players so soon.

He's LeBrons son. He'd dealt with that pressure his whole life.

You do understand what once in a lifetime means right?

I don't deal with hypotheticals

1. No other player in the NBA has EVER played with his son.

2. Bronny literally almost died.

3. The majority of college players are not as good as G league players.

4. There is a reason those players didn't get drafted. There are 30 teams. Why do the lakers have to draft them? All of a sudden the 55th pick is so important? He's playing like a 55th pick should.

Regardless of what YOU and everyone else wants he's not your son and the stats that you conveniently want to ignore shows he has the skills to develop into a NBA player now. LeBron had the power to do what others don't and that's why everyone is crying.

They are happy and that's all that matters.
