Alexa Bliss is back in WWE, and here to stay for a long time.

Bliss had missed the last two years while out on maternity leave, and the company had looked to bring her back. They've officially done that, as WWE hammered out a new five-year deal with Bliss, as well as Paragon Talent's Mojo and Steve Kaye. The deal was signed on Saturday, and Bliss was flown in to Indianapolis for the WWE Royal Rumble the same day. Prior, Shotzi was going to be in the Rumble.

The talent involved in the Royal Rumble match were not aware that Bliss would be in the Royal Rumble until she arrived Saturday. WWE had prepared merchandise for her eventual return a number of weeks ago as she'd started to be factored into plans.

Bliss had been under a long term deal previously, which had been extended due to absences. WWE sources claimed that Bliss and her reps wanted a new deal, while they wanted her to work on the deal she had previously as they'd paid her during her leave. However, even if a new deal wasn't reached, there would have been time remaining on the previous contract.

A WWE talent has finished up with the company.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that NXT talent Duke Hudson is no longer with WWE after being released. We're told the move actually happened in January.

Hudson last wrestled on an NXT house show in November.

We were not given a reason, and are looking into the situation.

WWE EVOLVE will begin its first television tapings this weekend, PWInsiderElite.com can confirm. The belief is there will be at least one taping this weekend at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. There is no word how fans can attend at this time. The WWE EVOLVE series will premiere on 3/5 on Tubi, a FOX owned free streaming service that can be viewed on every streaming device and at Tubi.TV.

John Cena is already back in Budapest, Hungary filming the Matchbox movie. As it currently stands, he is not slated for WWE programming again until The Elimination Chamber on 3/1.

NXT is 100% planning to run Theater in Madison Square Garden on 3/11. They will have another taping on the road in April.

There's been talk of Nashville being an "on the road" location for them, but not necessarily for April.
