There was a time when Baker was over as the fuck.. All my early AEW fans know she would get HUGE pops and fan support. Might can even say she was as over as Omega and Mox were with crowd reactions.

That's why I always said even if she can't wrestle like that she one of them ones who got charisma and crowd support down pack at the time and was doing entertaining segments with Reba . Now it's like all that steam passed and I dont think it's just because better talent came in, more so they stopped presenting her like that and removed from tv over and over due to whatever was going on. Plus nobody wanted her and Coles relationship all over tv.

Nah I think her segments were actually entertaining at the time and were doing great, she was winning fans over with alot of it. They stopped doing what made her hot right after her first Injury.

I thought it was gon be fun to hear his perspective, but he just comes off like a Vince guy that skated by.

The way he talks bout the old days without a hint of irony is crazy. Us old heads that came up with it get it, but these 00’s babies? They won’t… and he was there for them too.

Taker is from that era where they stood on bidness concerning kayfabe....selling outside the ring...etc. Old skool shyt. A lot of them feel like if they had to go thru all that to pay their dues, then this current era of talent has to as well.

Some of them refuse to let go the way they was brought up in the bidness, and adapt to current times. Or have issues folks being friends with each other. I think their biggest gripe is yall can be friends...just don't be seen. You didn't really SEE guys from Taker's era and b4 hanging out, unless they was in your town. Social media has completely erased that.

So I got where he was coming from. But at the same time...the landscape has completely changed. Them days are long gone. You still have your purist ala MJF...Cody...Ethan who you can tell they still carry like old skool way. But for the most part...meh.
