I don't know. I think he's probably right about the prosecutors and everyone else treating Cosby like the big fish that they were trying to catch. I don't know if I agree with the "3 lies" that he thinks the juror told, especially the first one. I have no problem believing that a 22 y/o white kid didn't know who Cosby is. I met a 19 y/o black kid who kinda heard the name, but didn't really know who Cosby was.

I can agree and pay attention to the wording “not knowing much about Bill Cosby”. He technically ain’t lying about that. But I don’t believe he didn’t know about the me too movement nor am I believing that he didn’t go in to this knowing which way he would go. I know you like to give white folks the benefit of the doubt but I don’t.

That's fair. I don't believe he's being honest about the #MeToo shit either. I'm not so sure about whether or not he knew which way he'd go, but I don't blame you for not giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Racist? Where'd you get that from? From everything I read, Twain was against slavery back in the day.
 
They can keep their icons even if flawed but we gotta toss ours aside if they have shown any sign of imperfection. We get way too caught up in the goals of preserving their culture but put little effort in preserving ours.

Wait, are you being serious? Are you saying that Mark Twain is racist because he wrote his stories accurate to the settings? You do realize that he personally wasn't calling a black man "Nigger Jim." He wrote a story where the racist CaC characters in the story were calling a black man that just as they did in the time period which the story was written. I'm going to assume you didn't actually read the story, so you missed out on the fact that part of the point of it was the development of Huckleberry to understand that he was wrong about how he viewed Jim.
