If it ain't water and wind proof, then it is not built for Midwest or up north winter coat.

I arrived early this morning and headed to my sisters house to retrieve all my packages

As I entered my apartment, I thought about what package to open first since they were so many of them. And then I noticed which one I wanted to open: the one with the cool jacket.

The first thing I noticed is that it was hanging from a hanger and had clear packaging. I put it on and instantly felt that this was the right purchase. It has 2 (!) different zippers and was heavy in a way that I realize that no matter what weather no matter how cold it got, it would keep me warm, vibrant, and more importantly safe.

This was the correct purchase and I thank you all for making me realize that

Ro you taking pics like when a woman wants hide her fupa. I need to see a full body picture of the jacket to make an actual judgement, but at the end of day if you are happy with your purchase then that's all that really matters.

Ok well make sure you layer up even with that coat you're gonna be cold. I would definitely think about investing in some sort of base layer if you are gonna be coming this far north. They don't take up much space in your bag...

Fleece or Under Armour (heat gear ) is better than long John's (cotton) as a base layer. Wool is the best but more expensive. I got some SmartWool pants that I loved until I put a small hole in them during skiing. Don't think I'm gonna buy another pair though. Shits expensive.
