So I know some of you are waiting to find out how my jacket performed while in Detroit today. Here it is:

When I stepped off the plane I instantly felt the cold air sneak into my lungs. It was 35 degrees and chilly but I wasn’t worried. Know why? The second I put my cool jacket on, I was instantly warm! What a great feeling. It passed the first test. Soon, I will depart to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That will be the real test. I know my jacket is ready

@Loquacious and @Tayboo if we were meeting for a date and you saw me wearing that jacket, would you give me at least a hug or walk away and drive home?

Oh I would still hug you because you're fine fine, but in the back of my mind would be thinking of ways to get you a new coat...

From the looks of it you'll have to burn it if you want him to get a new one. You better hurry caused it passed the 1st test or he gone hit that 1 button on Amazon and order another one

So I finally arrived in Beaver dam, Wisconsin on a frigid 27 degree evening.
After leaving the rental car center I drove an hour from the airport to get to my hotel room. I was nervous to get out of the car because I did not know if my cool jacket would do which job but fortunately it did!!

I felt warm, cozy and secured in my jacket. Eat your heart out @loud-ninja This jacket is phenomenal

Amazon got ribbed beanies for 7.99 in a variety of colors

These similar ones are almost double on sites life Uniqlo.

These are the thicker ones also. Going to get a couple for myself

Things I'll be on hunt for during the after Christmas sales...


A maxi sweater dress...I can wear my base layers underneath and still be cute.



Wide leg dark denim and either a dark denim jacket like the one above or a vest.



A shearling coat. This has been on my wishlist for a good minute...can be long or short.

Cashmere socks.

Dillard's usually have a after the new year sale where everything is marked down really cheap clothes, bedding, kitchen appliances and cookware

We have Macy's. Nearest Dillard's is in Iowa, most of their stores are down South...
