Although the intensity of the preseason is a different than regular season games…the only guys going hard are those guys who are legit fighting for a roster spot

Still..

Only way you get in football shape is to play football

They removed 1 week of preseason and added the extra regular season game a few years ago

There was a brief time when the league made a new rule that lowering your helmet was illegal but it was rarely called. I just figured the league removed the rule. Still fining players is messed up though

Problem is the fines aren't balanced and oftentimes repeat offenders of the rules can get lower penalties

Unless it's a flagrant violation of rules and conduct, I'm not fining anyone. This is football. You wear pads and helmets for a reason. Keep your head on a swivel. It's a contact sport. #MNFLGA
