I always took it to be the companies' insurers paying out, hence such a quick turnaround from her lawsuit being out to Diddy and co agreeing to settle

I can understand him getting pressed by the other companies threatening to countersue but I don't see why one of the companies named would just eat it. Maybe there's something I'm missing about the suit tho.

Edit: I could see one of the companies named in the suit having information to corroborate some of what Cassie is saying so they pay out to avoid trial then hand over information to authorities. Damn.

Puff never came off no Diddy off any money for paying Cassie. The money came from a insurance company that stars like himself pay into for shit like this. That's why the check was cut so quick and the check also came with no admission of guilt from Puff
