The nastiest. Didn't even get through the year.

That's the beauty of it, mission accomplished

I'm not necessarily in a rush to get rid of FVV, I think his steadiness and experience has been huge for us....having solid pg play goes a very long way, word to Mike Conley

Fred got a lucrative 3 year deal.....now he's a 42 million dollar expiring contract next season with a team option for that following year......very team friendly deal for us at this point.

The Dillon Brooks contract on the other hand isn't ideal, probably going to have to attach an asset to get off of him at some point but he still provides some value and isn't just a complete negative for us

KAT been doing too much dunking lately. He's too big for that. Seriously tho, that sucks. Hope he can play in the playoffs.

No one is trading for him. He’s a special case all of his own.

I agree with the tweet....I'm sure some team could be incentivized to take on bad money for one year

I keep saying no contract in the league is untraceable, it just comes down to what and how many assets are you willing to attach in order to get a team to agree on a trade

He’s not accepting a buy out nor does he want to play the game of basketball.

What does that have to do with anything?

Does he have a no trade clause?(he doesnt). That's the only thing that would matter in this scenario.....that or him failing a physical to a team that trades for him

When a team trades for a bad contract. There are 2 things.

1. You can buy him out.
2. He contributes to your team.

Ben is not accepting a buyout and he doesn’t want to play basketball so he can’t contribute. So tell me again what’s the upside? Of course the Nets would get rid of him for a ham sandwich.

When a team trades for a bad contract they receive compensation for doing so...they don't just take on bad money for no reason lol

A team can trade for Ben Simmons ande have zero intention of him ever playing one second for their team......they wanted the assets coming along with it and it's only the book for one year

The other scenario is trading bad money for another teams bad money and just hoping it's a better fit for what you're trying to do but I don't see a team wanting Ben Simmons with the idea of him actually contributing at this point

You can absolutely move Ben Simmons but you're attaching picks along with him in order to do that
