Because they actually want to entertain people, lol. Oppenheimer was a great movie, but it was only as good as the actors in it. It’s easy to make a good movie with 1 subject and some of the greatest actors of this generation. As far as the visuals and plot being entertaining, it wasn’t that.

MCU making classics with a burnt out (at the time) RDJ, Chris Evans, and Chris Pratt. They made Tom Holland a star. Made Chadwick an icon for black children (and white childrenfor that matter).

I look at the MCU as one long ass 60 hour movie. The skill to do that is mind boggling. That’s why all the ones who make 1-2 great standalone movies every 5-10 years are jealous.

I hear ya. People gotta realize Marvel Studios lucked into the Infinity Saga. And that’s why they can’t duplicate it. Maybe things will change with the Fox Studios properties. But I think an “Elseworld” approach is needed. A connected universe has too many limiting factors for the directors, the actors and the storytelling.

No WWE was not always hittin and you know what happened when it started to fall off from 2009 to 2020??? I stopped watching. I didnt run into anyones wrestling conversations, knowing full well I didnt fuck with the product, just to sass niggas and troll them. When it was ass, I didnt watch. At all, didnt give it a single second of my time.

Learn to do the same if you dont fuck with the MCU as much as you claim, brother. Again, steady in these MCU threads knowing you havent fucked with the shits since 2019 lol what we doin here
 
I think they can get back to it. They just need to get the overall story back together with some direction and structure

After Infinity Saga you have to let them try

lol, how is me saying that 5%-10% of MCU is “Cinema” and rest is popcorn fluff = I don’t fuck with the MCU. I never once said it. I just don’t fuck with it like yall fuck with it. And honestly brother you agree my stances more than you let on. But you being COEing for the audience.

have you considered the directors and/or writers, like the actors involved in all that wanted to try something different after working on the same shit for 10+ years?
 
On another note, Marvel has a lot of confidence in Deadpool & Wolverine. To only drop 1 film in a year says a lot. Feige thinks they got a banger on their hands and so does Bob Iger. Iger today said he has confidence this will be the one to put Marvel back on the map
