Iron Man 1 was cinema. It dealt with the theme of US corruption and intervention in foreign affairs as well as the US propping up terrorist groups and general warmongering. Basically shined a spotlight on the military industrial complex.

And the main character developed from arrogant billionaire asshole to superhero.

Why is Marvel Studios not making high quality movies on par with Dune 2 and Oppenheimer? With bigger budgets and marketing.

That's not what's being discussed brother

We've all admitted not every marvel movie was created equally.

Some have pointed out that there are movies in the marvel universe that check the same boxes to be labeled as cinema per scicoresse or however you spell that shit.

What's even more impressive at least to me is that Marvel has made those films despite the source in which many of the films draw from.

Why is it only considered cinema when it's based off real life people/events?

Why is it only considered cinema cause audiences of a certain age/demo can enjoy it?

And lastly, why is it only considered cinema cause some out of touch cracka is trying to gatekeep what's cinema and what isn't?
