5-8 in the West separated by a half game

Suns
Pelicans
Kings
Mavericks

Going to be interesting to see the final standings.....Suns with the hardest remaining schedule in the league, might be headed for the playin tournament which is wild

Nah I never said anything about blowing it up....but instead of building on the success they had last year, they did absolutely nothing with their cap space besides unnecessarily giving Sabonis a frontloaded extension....West was wide open this season too

They letting other teams in the conference catch up and pass them while they just chill.....like what's the path at this point for the Kings getting to the next level? Just hoping Keegan Murray takes a leap every year?
Internal improvements and considering where they’ve been they’re content being a playoff team. Maybe when the honeymoon wears off and they feel the pressure from the fans.

A big issue is they've only gotten slightly better defensively (20th this year 24th this year)........but taken a big step back offensively.....they were the number 1 offense last season now they're 13th

8th in net rating last season and 17th this season

But I was told that I was hating and that I should be happy with them staying pat and doubling down on this team that has already maxed out what it can be
Im just waiting for my victory lap

Internal improvement coming from where?

It's underrated how uninspiring roster their roster is and how little upside is on it imo.....besides Fox, Monk and Murray I wouldn't even want anyone on their team...they probably not even going to be able to keep Monk after this summer

What made the Kings so good last season was their offense....best in the league....now they're down to 13th and they still have a below average defense

They going to end up doing something dumb though like giving up assets for Kyle Kuzma in the offseason

Not surprised by the pecking order tbh

Only thing I’m surprised by is that they holding out hope for bum ass Jalen

I'm not necessarily surprised about the order but more so about the organization still not being as high on Sengun as people think considering the year he's had

Jalen will be gone by draft night, I feel pretty confident about that

Udoka be looking at Amen Thompson like he wants to cry

He would play him 48 minutes per game if he could

I don’t think they’re worried about where they are. They’re just happy to be relevant again. Internal improvement can come through low risk high reward moves and hitting on one or two later round picks.
