Personally I think it sucks he's going out like this. Rocafella was one of the first Black brands I seen in my lifetime take off the way it did. Even after the split, Dame had the potential to be as rich as Jay if not richer. At the very least he helped paved the road for street cats to go corporate off their own dollar. Rocafella was his baby, he should be able to pass it on to his kids so they can preserve the legacy. This is the end of an era, and as a hip hop fan and someone that prides himself on Black self preservation, this is heartbreaking.
