Netflix Griselda

Was that a body double?

She had her moments but the show didn't seem to depict her as this ruthless drug lord I was expecting. She was acting scared and reactionary most of the time

Like during that one scene I thought she was going to go all evil and chop that dudes head off. Instead she shoots him

Of course smoking what I assume was crack and paranoia were her downfall

Thought overall it was ok. Plot was pretty identical to every other criminal story

Yea they fumbled a lot of shit on the show. They didn't even film her being murdered.

It was really just about her struggling to be a drug dealer because she was a woman

Also adding the cop that got her struggled being a cop because she was a woman

Yea, "Women power" definitely seemed to be the theme. It kinda ruined it tbh.

Like you said, she never came across as ruthless or a boss. They tried too hard to make her a sympathetic character.
