I think both sides knew this is the last ride

Usage rate the lowest its been in 3 years.....lowest efficiency since his 3rd year in the league....assist percentage the lowest in 3 years....worst true shooting of his career since his rookie year

Porzingis solidifying himself as the better second option

I think Jaylen is still a really good player and would love him on the Rockets but not on that contract

He's going to be the scapegoat for Boston if/when Boston flames out

No doubt in my mind his train of thought was secure the max bag with Boston and demand a trade at the end of the season if things don't workout

Looking at the numbers for Gradey Dick and Jordan Hawkins so far is interesting

They're always going to be compared to me because they were the best shooters in the draft and they were drafted back to back

Hawkins shooting 37% from 3 on 7 attempts per game

Dick shooting 24% on about 3 attempts per game

Hawkins has had more of an opportunity due to the injures New Orleans was dealing with and took advantage of it but I thought Dick would have more defined role and be an easy fit in the rotation since Toronto desperately needed his shooting

Just something to keep an eye on

I thought he would have a much more smoother time than playing iffy and being sent to the G league a bit
