I mean… it’s not impossible. The whole NFC South could be fired (I’d be shocked if the division winner had a winning record). Washington, Chicago. Buffalo coach ain’t safe. Raiders already fired the coach that’s one right there. Staley in LA ain’t lasting past this year the way he’s going. Not to mention Bill “resigning” more than likely in New England. By my count that’s possibly 8 or 9 right there.

Unless the numbers are wrong then it is what it is. AFC East wasn't really that weak.

And Smith was also wrong about this being the time with the best QB play imo.

I'll say that Peyton Manning's division was worse than Brady's division. Plenty of years where Texans, Jags, and sometimes the Titans were horrific.

Not sure his source. Does seem surprising but look at the Jets run i just posted. They were .500 or better in 10 of 15 seasons with 6 paid playoff appearances (and reached the AFCCG in 2 of those 6 seasons).

I'm not saying they were good, but the narrative is they were the shittiest division in the league.

Here's the Cowboys during that same period. Less playoff appearances, less playoff success, same number of losing seasons.

Wasted potential. Dude was the one who recovered the strip sack by BG in the SB vs Brady. He never really done much after that, which is sad in that defensive line rotation.
