Maybe in case of pending charges or lawsuits. Dont wanna look like you lived a super extravagant lifestyle so you can play up how much you were a victim and not an accomplice. And for lawsuits, they possibly dont wanna pay.

I mean, this the same couple that got mad at Desus & Mero for a joke about her, then acted like it was a low blow they shouldnt of done, cuz shes his wife behind the scenes. But they made the joke after watch a clip of her on a damn TV show, trying to build her brand and be famous. So I'm sure if that true, it made perfect sense to her and she prob thought it was brilliant.
