You're self hating because you've convinced yourself that you don't have the ability to listen to a song and not do what it says and then are projecting that onto everyone else. I never said rap represents Black culture. I said your view point of what rap music does to Black people is self hating. That's a you problem you gotta work out. Because rap doesn't represent what you see to everyone. You want it to, but that's not the way the world works. Not everyone is gonna agree with you that nearly every single rap song is bad and will influence them to commit crimes or violent/immoral acts like you think it did to you.
Your problem/flaw comes not only in your trying to assume that everyone is as gullible as you are, but that you somehow know and can prove that as you keep saying "99% of rap is bad." You always want to deal in specifics and made a broad generalization that you can't prove. You don't wanna listen to rap and think hip hop is evil? Cool. Why you on a message board based around hip hop if you hate it so much?
