Is it me or was the sound kinda weird in this series? A lot of times it took me out the episode.
Series was kinda underwhelming overall. Wasn’t “Samuel L Jackson” enough for me, if that makes sense.
Marvel need to stay away from the spy/spec ops stuff unless they let the Russos handle it.

So they've effectively retconned a bunch of shit and removed what little story Rhodes had. I don't like that change it should've been after Endgame
I would have had Rhodes be captured by Skrulls before the events of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier so when he shows up in that show, it would have been Skrull Rhodes.

Even him being taken then would've made more sense story wise. Up until now the Skrulls were viewed as friendly and allies to Earth. Sorry this was bad writing Disney. Rhodes being gone that far back he better have a massive character arc in Armor wars.

nah I'm sure they'll either come out and say something or have Rhodes clarify it in Armor Wars, but they'll say it was later than that. Because it really undoes a lot of his character development.

I did enjoy the more espionage approach but it ultimately fell flat on the landing.
Agreed that it should've been maybe 10eps. The first 4 were maybe the best in the series then it just nose dives with the last two.
Really enjoyed the actress that was posted on the last page. She nailed every scene she was in imo.

And this wasn’t? Flash was a way better time than this show. Shit should’ve never been called Secret Invasion. This show did nothing but muck shit up. The critic rating say it’s ass, the viewership ratings says it ass, the general audience say it’s ass. That’s 3 packs of ass, you accept it nigga.

Secret Invasion director Ali Selim seemed to suggest Marvel’s “rabid” fans had outsized expectations during an interview with Variety. “I don’t feel bad about mixed reviews,” he said. “Marvel has a very devoted — even rabid — fan base who have expectations and when their expectations aren’t fulfilled, they move in the other direction; they give it a thumbs down. So, it’s a tricky thing. I would love it if everybody loved it, but I also don’t have that expectation myself, so I feel great about the response to it.” He then asked: “Is it our job to fulfill their expectations?” (Well … yeah … that’s probably literally the job.)
