This is the block I lived in when I was born. There was a hoe house and heroin den on the block. The heroin spot was next door to us. When I was 3 a nigga staggered out and OD'ed in front of me while I was riding my Big Wheel on the sidewalk.

The home that was on this empty lot is where we moved to not long after that nigga OD'ed in front of me. Next door was the Clark 76 gas station. This whole neighborhood was rough as fuck back then. There was a couple of posters on the IC that was from Saginaw and they would both vouch for how Washington and Hess and 8th St was back inna day.

Jokes is jokes and I'll chuckle and laugh along with the rest, but some shit I simply don't play with; spousal abuse is one such thing. I grew up seeing that shit... A lot. The last time it happened in my presence I was 16 and was ready to kill my (2nd) stepfather over it but my moms talked me down from it. My own father almost caught a blade in his neck for some shit that went down with him and my stepmother when I was 13.
