Breaking News School Shooting in Nashville

The Nashville shooting response draws comparisons to Uvalde, but there are key differences.
In both instances, officers rushed to the scenes and immediately entered the schools. But the situations that they confronted were not the same.

Don't @ me to no bullshit.

I ain't republican in the slightest nor am I a democrat.

You use Republcan talking points and you don't realize that your views are 100% republican. Saying that you're not doesn't mean shit when you've already proven that you are.

Consider this a reality check. Maybe if you actually read what some of us are telling you and stop being so fucking defensive you'll see that you've been had but you think you're smarter than you really are and it's disappointing.

You are a Republican my nigga.

Nigga, it's called being a centrist. Republicans have good ideas, democrats have good ideas but at the same time both groups have lunatics running them and they also have plenty of shit-tier ideologies between them.

I've never voted for a republican, only ever Democrats when I feel I can get behind them. Last election I didn't vote at all for either because Trump is a racist paste eater and Biden is and always will be even more of a racist aside from him being clearly on a mental decline.

Had Andrew Yang been the candidate put forth by the Democrats, I would have voted for him. He's the closet to where I stand.

Consider this a reality check: My view on this subject came from reading about each of the last cases, which, had YOU done that, you would see the pattern emerge: Nearly every school shooter going back to Columbine had mental health concerns as well as prior run-ins with law enforcement. The republican talking point is surface level, I came to my conclusion by going far deeper which is what I often do. In case you don't remember, I'm the cat that used to write long ass, fact checked and cross referenced posts on subjects like this. I decided to tone that down a couple of years ago 'cause I really don't have time to do it and I realized that most of y'all refuse to read that shit 'cause you'd rather stick to whatever you believe.

Saying I'm not means exactly that: I'm not. Who exactly the fuck do you think you are to try to define what I am??? You don't get to tell me what the fuck I am, I tell you and you go about your fucking way my nigga.

Can't ban mental health problems. I've explained the struggle with even getting red flag laws implemented and having them enforced.

For example, California leads the nation in mass shootings (shootings with 4 or more victims). California also has red flag laws. Florida, the location of the mass shooting at that gay night club, also has red flag laws. Virginia, where that Wal-Mart manager killed 6 people and committed suicide, has red flag laws. Colorado, where that other gay club got shot up, has red flag laws. New York, where homie went in to the supermarket and killed a bunch of black folk, has red flag laws. I can go on and on.

You can be pro gun and hate on Trump, his ilk and all they stand for like I do

You can also hate on Biden for some of his incompetent acts also

I'm pro gun but also for gun control.

This most recent event may be the tipping point to laws passed regarding who should have access to firearms

We shall see

It's one thing to have laws on the books, it's another thing to actually enforce them. I said this much with regards to the Buffalo shooter. He was known to law enforcement as a threat and yet the cops didn't do their job and initiate the process.

And Cali's "mass shootings" ain't shit but gang niggas killin' each other. That ain't the same as this or any other incident where a muhfucka decided they were going to kill as many random people as possible for whatever their reason was.

And since the overwhelming majority of those shootings in Cali were done by criminals with illegal guns, there's not a single law that could have stopped them from happening. Even a 100% ban on guns wouldn't stop them because criminals are STILL gonna get their hands on guns and ammo like they do in England right now. Gun crime is on the rise there despite a complete ban on citizens owning guns!

The only thing I can really get behind is raising the age for all guns across the board to 21. However, as I pointed out in another one of these threads, even doing that wouldn't have stopped the majority of mass shootings.

If they raise the age for that then they should raise the age for everything to 21
