Ugh...I'm tired of yall saying she's not wrongfully imprisoned when she's actually wrongfully imprisoned.
Being labeled wrongfully imprisoned in another country is not about breaking the law. It's about whether or not you are there for politically purposes...such as, you are imprisoned by an enemy nation over something insignificant like having less than a gram of hash oil, that normally would constitute a fine.
Americans in China and Russia with long ass prison citizens for basic shit, are considered wrongfully imprisoned because those are not our allies and they are known for giving Americans outrageous citizens that they don't give to their own for the same crime.

CBS News reported Audrey Lorber was detained when she arrived in St. Petersburg for vacation and authorities found about 19 grams of marijuana on her. She said the drug was for medical reasons and showed the prescription but police said it wasn’t valid in Russia, CBS reported.
Lorber spent more than a month in a detention sentence. A court in St. Petersburg fined her for 15,000 rubles or $230 after finding her guilty.

In Russia, cannabis is illegal. An individual possessing less than 6 grams of cannabis or two grams of hash can be fined or jailed for up to 15 days. Possessing any more than that becomes a more serious criminal offense.
Ms Griner was accused of having less than a gram.
“Being sufficiently aware that the movement of narcotic drugs is not allowed… no later than February 17, 2022 at an unspecified location under unspecified circumstances from an unidentified person [Ms Griner] bought two cartridges for personal use, which contained 0.252 grams and 0.45 grams of hash oil, totaling 0.702 grams,” the prosecutor said during the trail, TASS reported.
