Wednesday morning, PWInsider.com noted during The We Don't Need Stinkin' Name Show for PWInsiderElite.com subscribers that a story making the rounds among talent was that there was a heated issue between Sammy Guevara and Eddie Kingston backstage recently.

Since we recorded, PWInsider.com confirmed with several sources that there was an altercation in Minneapolis several weeks back following a Sammy Guevara promo that got physical after Guevara returned backstage. Kingston confronted Guevara, taking issue with something he said during the promo about Kingston's appearance. The two were separated and Kingston was suspended for several weeks. He has not been at AEW events since and the expectation is that he will return next week.

When reached for comment, Kingston confirmed the suspension, stating, "You know the truth. I wouldn't lie. I was wrong for being unprofessional. That is the blind fact. He did what he did and the public can judge that but I know for a fact I was wrong."

There has been no official word whether Guevara was suspended as well. He was not at TV last week in West Virginia, but there were lots of travel issues coming into and out of Charleston. Guevara worked last night's Rampage taping in a bout that will air this Friday on TNT, teaming with his wife Tay Melo against Ortiz and Ruby Soho.

The Eddie Kingston vs. Sammy Guevara match has been promoted regularly on AEW's social media accounts over the last several weeks, so it would appear the match is still scheduled for the AEW All Out PPV.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, it was announced that AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa is injured and will not be able to compete at All Out in September, requiring the company to crown an Interim Champion.

There is a story making the rounds that Rosa has been suspended by the company and is not injured. In checking with multiple sources, we are told there is zero truth to that story and her injury required a change in AEW plans for the PPV.

There's been no confirmation as of yet on the nature of the injury nor how long Rosa will be out.

Man wit AEW...sometimes you dunno if these stories are real...or them building stories to create feuds.

Look at all these issues popping up, these issues are way worse than any backstage stuff under Vince as far as the wrestlers

Bruh what? Lol booker t straight up scrapped with Batista at a summer slam photo shoot. Jericho has scrapped with at least three people backstage and everything job got into. I know you anti-aew now, but

Booker fighting ol boy still not worse than what's going on in present aew. In a short amount of time you need a sit down because everyone hates everyone else. The head booker has no clue what he's doing and instead of trying to be the boss he wants to be their friends which is the problem. You got your women's champ hiding in the bathroom because all the other women wanna break her face. Got old man Punk being disgruntled as usual pissing people off. No wonder talent wanna jump ship, they know they made the wrong decision

Backstage heat...wrestlers unhappy...fights...issues wit the booker...wait that's new??? Lol!

Thought it was the nature of the business? Especially all the stories that's been told. And even more UNTOLD.

IF? Shyt like this has been going on with WWE for DECADES. The question is how far back you wanna go?

Cuz the shyt AEW is going thru now...is nada compared to what WWE has gone thru. Hell...let's throw WCW in the mix also.

Imagine if they had social media back then. Alot of the issues would've been flooding the internet

It’s really that simple. AEWs biggest issue is creative. Tony needs more people in his circle who have experience to make better creative decisions

Meh…

part of me thinks these are calculated moves to get booted from the company for greener pastures.

too much is happening right now in the other yard to not rule it out.
