Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi

Were there some questionable decisions in this show? Yes

did they insult some fans playing around with the canon? Yes

But you know what? I enjoyed the hell out of this show and this is the quality of show we wanted when they launched Disney plus

Finally watched the finale. Might have to update my up live action light saber battles loose cause they got busy in this shit. The use of the force was crazy! And the duel was smooth as hell.

This has to be the best Vader fight ever on screen. In the OG trilogy he was stiff af. In this he was agile and smooth with it.
 
And I’m not mad at Obi beating Vader because this was still younger Vader and Obi been powerful. You think about it he more than held his own against Anakin on Musta. And he was definitely holding back that whole fight until the very end.

The one thing I am mad about is that he left him alive. They could have had the Inquisitors or somebody intervene and Obi just bounced due to being outnumbered.

I wish they would have had Qui Gon talk to Obi under the rocks. Then it would have made more sense when he showed up at the end. Seems like Liam decided to join the show at the last minute and they just threw him in real quick.
 
My only gripe with the fight (maybe its nitpicking, idk) but they seem to pick and choose when to make the lightsaber one of the strongest weapons in the galaxy

Those rock foundations should've been tore tf up. That would've made the scene much better.
And I've noticed with Disney even moreso they've been more like stun clubs than having the ability to cut through almost anything.
 
Loved this joint a lot. Zero complaints from me.

I'm over the Skywalker family but shit like this makes Star Wars what it is

lol I was thinking the same thing. Anakin on there looking older than Obi Wan.

Also, Anakin's character never meshes well between the Clone Wars cartoon and the live actions stuff. He's so much more of a dipshit live actions. Like nothing in that little flashback really applies all that much to Clone Wars Anakin.
 
This was an enjoyable series, especially once it focused less on Reva and her terrible acting.

This and Mandolorian are heads and tails better then Boba Holmes

Because he bested him twice and could have killed him both times. Like ok lil nigga.

If you want to be technical Obi responsible for all that came to what Vader did including his own demise because he couldn't pull the trigger.
 
Never cared for Reva's story

What confused me was Reva running after Luke but I thought he didn't know what a Jedi or light saber was? He also met Obi-Wan but in the first film he hadn't met him before. Or at least I don't remember any of that

Obi-Wan had to beat him because of what Vader said when he met him in the first movie

He knew old Ben Kenobi, didn't know Obi Wan was the same person
