Mediocre Massacre
PRAISE: A bunch of 20 year olds including one thats off balance have the wonderful idea to rejuvenate a town in a creepy county in which the Chainsaw Massacres took place.
There's some fun to be had with this movie with some creative kills,odd characters and the Chainsaw wielding behemoth himself. I guess the writers liked the last 2 Halloween movies because they definitely borrowed from it which I didn't mind.
Hats off to the SFX and make up crew who crafted a couple of stunning and bloody scenes. There are a couple of cool jump scenes. It was cool to see William Hope who I haven't seen in anything since the movie Aliens.
The final shot was absolutely hilarious.
PROBLEMS: The movie asked me to suspend disbelief over and over again.
I mean come on how much can a human body take? Another horror movie in which a character wants to have a conversation with the killer. The trauma of a character should have been explored more.
Definitely some predictable moments throughout the movie.There was a scene so badly edited i wondered if the Director/Editors missed something or just didnt care.
One scene was absolutely ridiculous and the dialog tied to it was even worse.

The woman ranger was just unbelievable. How she even get a badge? When she first saw leatherface, she didnt shoot because he didn't remember her. Really? He hurt your feelings so now you ain't gone shoot?
