If more ladies push the rest of the year vs just the day, wouldnt you see if he puts in the effort on a consistent basis.

so not only does the man need to do a majority of the courting...but he must make a lady feel special on a certain day more than feeling special outside of that. can you not see how that can be draining on a dude?

so last question.....would you discredit all your man did during the previous year to question why he didnt do nothing on this day?

to celebrate the date yiou got married

xmas and thanksgiving and black friday and cyber monday are scams. they got niggas fighting in the UK now over black friday shit.

the thing is tho.....companies know to target the woman and make a lady feel her value is in what a man does or spends on her. thats just wrong.

now i am the biggest perpetrator of this....but i do it because i want to...not because i have to.

my point is, a dude can genuinely want to do nice things for his lady for Vday, but it appears at least in your eyes, you have to find the perfect chick that:

  • is appreciative of any gesture for vday
  • doesnt really make a big deal about vday
  • doesnt require an absorbent amount of money to be spent on vday
  • believes that vday is about the man just as equal as they woman
its cool that you and kandy and a handful of other people have found/are these people, but i promise you, ya'll are the exceptions and not the rules.

there are WAY more females that act like the rest of the year is for nothing if you dont care to celebrate vday or roll out the red carpet every single year.
 
i'm willing to bet that my personal experiences are more in line with the experiences that you and Kandy have had

again, i think its dope af that Kandy likes to treat her dude on vday...like, i personally wouldnt know how to act b /c that shit just not normal to me. I would be super thankful and appreciative, BUT, i would also have those same feelings if it was a Tuesday in the middle of September.

Don't do that lol Cuz I can easily say your p.o.v is the exception and not the rule, unless we go out and survey every woman in america neither of us can say that.


Also I never said the last thing on ur list. I think valentine's day is for the women, I don't believe it's for the men. Now if she gets u something, that's cool, but I never expect anything on Vday.

So to go back to ur original point, a woman has to be 'perfect' because she doesn't require expensive gifts? lmaoo cmon fam, you're better than this. That doesn't require her to be perfect, that requires her to not be a bird and to be realistic. Niggas aint got thousands to pay for some designer shit or to buy one of those planes to write something in the sky for her lol I won't say most, but A LOT of women will be happy with a gift that comes from the heart.
