I graduated HS in 2008, and when ppl fought, either you where there or you weren't. This was before smartphones really popped off... you weren't catching anything good on a grey flip or Nokia phone lol

Nowadays, you lose a fight, and that shit is everywhere, instantly.

The bold is why I disagree heavily when people say online bullying can just be done away with by turning off the computer/phone. When you can end up on a video where anyone in the world can make jokes or part of viral tweet/moment that millions of people can have an opinion on it makes that lunch table jokes seem tame by comparison.
