Welcome To aBlackWeb

I'm in love with this show bruh. I love the little Easter eggs. When Ghost told Rza the sample didn't need no drums my heart melt fam. Happy they got U God this season as well.

Cannot wait tomorrow episode to see how Rae and Ghost will finally become one of hip hop greatest tag teams .

To me it's crazy that ABW is not riding harder for this show especially with so much old heads on this site. This show is simply incredible. Rza nerdy ass be taking screenplay styles from Marvel with how he be foreshadowing things and dropping hints in.

I mark out every episode bruh. When U God was telling Method about the Judas Chair I marked out to my girl saying that's how that Method man intro probably came about with them torture skits lmao

Good show for real. The mix of fact and fiction is kinda interesting. When you see something on the show, you always want to know how it really went down. For instance, we know Rza shot someone and went to jail for attempted murder. We know Ghost actually did get shot in the neck. We know Rae got shot too. I wonder how close to reality those incidents really are. I'm also surprised they even touched Steubenville with this show give the fact that the Feds were secretly trying to build a case against them based on Steubenville shit.

Dude playing the violin on the ferry and the ending

Had a nigga like.......

The 2 guys who play Ghost Face and Raekwon are the strongest actors in the show. The little mannerism they have are crazy accurate. RZA signed off on his actor but that dude is the weakest link in the show. Im trying to give him some benefit of the doubt that down the line he gets better.

I love this show bruh. So much so that I can forgive the petty grievances I have with the casting or performance of RZA's character.

I can just tell that it was made with alot of love and detail. It aspires to be more than just a straightup biopic, but rather leans confidently into moments of fantasy or even absurdity.

The cutaways to the ferry captain talkin to Bobby over the boat speaker, reminded me of the most random moments of the first season of Atlanta.

I'm locked in for the rest of the season.

My Lady was pissed at me for ruining that "Wu Tang clan ain't nothing to fuck with" and "this ain't Staten island, this Shaloin" part but bruh I selfishly was marking out and said fuck it lol.

I even marked out in the beginning of the episode when they said "watch your step kid" randomly (Protect your neck intro). Dog this show is flooded with small details that Wu Tang nerds be marking too lol.

And btw I actually fucks with RZA actor. Rza high-key talk proper and weird like that in regular situations lol. I have no issue with the actors, just want D Lover to rap more like Ghostface with a high pitch voice.

This was a classic episode,so many gems. "We're LITERALLY all on the same boat". A good message about putting your issues aside to work with other brothers for something greater. 💪
I missed it, but was song the violin was playing? It sounded familiar I couldn't think of it in the moment.
