Should Pastors drive luxury cars?

Depends on their preaching. Should be able to determine if it's deserved or not. My Pastor doesn't have a luxury car, but she should.

To the "if they can afford it" people. Can they really? There are always always people in need
I base it on the source of funds. If people are tithing to the church to hear you preach, to use facilities, etc., then those funds should go primarily to running the church, helping others, etc. with a modest salary to the pastor.

If the pastor is writing books or recording sermons and placing them for sale in a marketplace, that’s unrelated to the tithes people are giving freely so that’s truly their money to do with what they wish.

This kinda shit helps to convert folk to atheists and agnostics. You see this shit and the questions begin...
How about just go to another church lol

Idk why this triggers so many people and try to use this one size fits all about religion. At this point, if you (not you personally) don't like church, or think all of them crooked and on some bs, there isn't anything you're going to find that's going to change your mind.

"Where two or more gather"... I'm Paraphrasing but that's church b.

People need to stop trying to make people like Joel, creflo, etc the face of all pastors/preachers.

1 bad apple......?

If the pastor driving a 360k car, but the church is asking it’s members that live in the projects to tide and donate twice to 3 times during service… nah.

If pastor just drove a Maxima, and spread that extrA 320k to his members, I’d respect it

I hate pocket watching, but their car should resemble the cars the community they churching at.... It's a bad look to stunt on your congregation....I couldn't see myself at a church where the pastor driving a 100k+ car

In a situation where the pastor gets his salary and makes a killing investing it, he/she should be allowed and respected to spend his money how he pleases.

In a situation where the church be giving sermons and twisting the religion in a wild way and becoming almost cult like, and then paying the pastor a few million dollars a year? Then nah. I cant respect that

I used to work at a gas station for $7 an hour pumping gas, broke as shit. I was pulling like $220 a week, at a time when my phone bill alone was $100 a month.

Here this pastor came in a nice ass Benz and asked me to come to his church. It wasnt an entry level benz either. It was one of the S class joints that start at like 120k.

I straight shitted on him. Like yo you got christians starving in this country and internationally, and you driving a 100k car. He said he does his part and donates 10%. I told him youre donating what people are donating to you, plus your a pastor, so you should expect more from yourself than the minimum and be a better example for me.

My views on the subject have softened up a ton since. But still.

Never saw him again either.

There will always be people in need. Everybody can't be saved or helped. So IMO yes they really can afford it.

I wouldn't want my pastor thinkin' a luxury car is a good use of money. That's the thing. Pastor could be a millionaire spend that 100k on something useful
