A lot of people won't admin that illegals are mostly working jobs that most Americans don't want to do....If anyone is worried about an illegal taking their job then more than likely you might want to gain some additional skills....

its more complex than that...jus like theres laws that you can pay certain restaurant workers less than minimum wage, there's stipulations that you can pay agri laborers (well) under minimum wage... we have a slave class that keeps us fed

Changes nothing I said. It doesn't even make sense to compare an American only knowing and making dollars when they work to an legal or illegal immigrants when looking at the exchange rate between the dollar and peso for example.

The shit doesn't compare so again Americans ain't going to do those jobs for the same pay that an immigrant would because the American feels like they're being robbed without a gun for that amount pay. The immigrant feels like that amount of pay for that job is a come up considering what they were paid where they came from for possibly the same type of work.

However, in the mainland USA.....there is not one state that has a workforce of illegals over 9% and the total percentage of illegals that are working in the USA is 4% and there are studies out there that state Americans are actively leaving jobs in the field that illegals dominate


If you have to compete with an illegal in the field that they dominate, you need to get some additional skills

On one hand, I support a lot of these people because many of them are being exploited by a predatory system.

That said, some of the people working these dead end jobs are there because they didn't take the initiative to do better. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be compensated fairly for the work they do. They just shouldn't have the expectation to be ballin outta control for doing menial jobs.

For those large corporations boo fuckin hoo you'll have to pay a living wage. For the smaller companies that's have less than 50-100 employees that run retail and or food services they're hurting right now because they can't do their job because of staff limits.

But with living wage increase there will be a increase in goods like what @DOS_patos is trying to say. Companies going to want their profit margins the same no matter what we say. That goes for the mom & pops to large corp's

Shit ugly out here. I got some online degree and been applying everywhere.... Niggaz either not hiring or offering trash pay.....I got a lottttta rejections and pay under $15 an hour

Niggaz wanted me to "manage" a mail room for $14 an hour.... And that was the best job offer I got until I settled for the retail job....

Upping minimum wage does abosulty nothing for the person getting $14. NOTHING. They are no farther ahead than before after you factor in prices going up to cover that wage hike. Because....the company ain't gonna take a fall. They have profit margins to uphold and they goddamn will make profit which means upping prices and cutting hours. Shit I make even more than the entry level geek squad niggaz cuz they threw "advisor/ specialist" into my title cuz I had 10+ years of relative customer service experience.

The cutting ceiling dumb high here though. And most the management in the store already giving me signs imma move on a fast track. Store manager was legit pissed I was going on vacation cuz they wanted to train me to learn the phone sales before I left
