Black Ownership (property)

I’ve never heard Race say that she has a problem with a black person owning a property. Or allude to it.

But that’s just me.

Im familiar with the thread. I don’t recall anywhere in that thread where Race mentions that she has an issue with a black person owning property.

:foh3:

she didnt explicitly mention owning property in that comment but she's made her stance on landlords quite clear

I feel you, bro. And I’ll be the first to admit that I might be wrong.

But a lot of times on here, I see people’s opinions misrepresented. And I see it with Race often.

It seems like the easiest way to avoid that would be to ask.

@Race Jones Do you have a problem with a nigga owning property?

Fair enough... and agreed...

Hopefully we get an actual answer as opposed to a bunch of dusty/musty insults lol

some other folks on here have somewhat of problem of folks owning too much. Same with black folks having too much money.

So I though I check how the board as a whole feel on this mindset with money in another thread but they switched that up to putting a cap on money to like 10 million. Before a few others said if you made a million you fucked over black folks to get it.

Now I’m seeing a few folks have either an out right problem with owning property as a whole and owing too much property as an individual.

I’m just trying to pick everybody mindset and put myself in to see what I been missing regarding certain things.

And this ain about one person. But multiple. That’s why I made them two threads

So let’s discuss and give each other knowledge regarding those subjects.

@Inori

This ain’t about just one person or this thread. It’s multiple folks and just wanna see their though process on what they think the best direction for black folks and we can mesh but standpoints to make us better as a whole.

thats coo. I aint tryna just focus on one person.. who else shares those opinions? I honestly think it would make for a good debate/conversation. I may have missed some of the other interactions where folks made their opinions on this topic known tho so I cant @ them

Can’t remember who all is with the money cap or who all had co-signed when we was discussing being a landlord and how they are bad and shit.

That’s why the threads were made. But folks already changed their mind regarding money. Went from all millionaires are bed folks to some saying 10million cap and some 100 million cap.

So I’m just making the threads so we can discuss real shit instead of the threads that ain’t nothing but dumb gossip talk like Melo, FaceBook Skanks or some extra depressive murder shit.

She literally said "... private ownership should be abolished..." In the thread about bruhman owning a house and not renting it to Thugnificent and the Lethal Interjection Crew.

Understood. And this is a good example of what I mean. In that thread, Race railed against black landlords, not black property owners. That's not the same thing. She also said, per your quote, that private ownership should be abolished...not that black private ownership should be abolished. It sounds like she has an issue with the system that is setup where there are owners and renters, rather than having a problem with 'black ownership'.

Surely it can't be just me who that is painfully obvious too?

Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

I'm curious if theres any society in the world that doesnt believe in any form of ownership, if that is what's being argued for here..and if so... how does that society work exactly?

I would assume even monks in a monastery in the mountains gotta earn their keep in order to continue living where they live no?

"...ill never understand descendants of slaves championing private ownership..."

"... and yes, private ownership needs to cease..."

Add that to the fact that Race is an avowed socialist that has spoken out an a number of occasions against even Black business ownership ("... Black capitalism is still capitalism... ...it is still an apparatus of state violence...") and you have a better picture of her leanings.

I have no idea. And these questions lead me to believe that we ain't on the same page. Lol.

Just cause I think I understand Race's position, doesn't mean I agree with it. Shit sounds nuts. But what the fuck do I know?

I'ma drop this. Because, and I can't be sure, it SEEMS that you are posting these quotes from Race like it proves your point. When I legitimately think it proves MY point. Once two niggas get to that point in a discussion, all is lost. Lol.

You said she railed against landlord and didn’t rail against black ownership

She oppose both.

And against black owned business due to her belief system and also stated she for socialism.

I remember that clearly because I stated if you ever met a person from a socialist country you wouldn’t say that. I spoken with my cousin father RIP numerous times and he grew up in a socialist country and didn’t come to the states till he was in his 20s. He made it seem like the worse shit ever

But yea. Time to move on from that convo

Back to regular scheduling program
