Na, I mean philosophically as a matter of principal and in a macro sense. Wouldn't matter how comfy I am with that specific school, the administrators, the teachers, etc. The general idea is something that I have an issue with. Me personally.

Yeah I think people go overboard with how damaging corporal punishment is. There are people out there that tell you getting spanked pretty much saved their lives.

That's said, I don't think the question is whether corporal punishment is good or bad. I think the question is more whether or not it is the best thing for children. With some exceptions, I believe it's probably not.

To say 'kids come out all adjusted' as evidence that it isn't harmful is to say that it is not possible to come out well adjusted if anything harmful happened to you as a child. Which we all know is ridiculous. We've all overcome mad harmful shit as children to prosper as adults.
