Our culture is being stolen.
and by ours I am speaking on black Americans .....that does not mean I can’t see shit happening to another culture.
we are all too inclusive.

It always starts withExplain in detail how Adele was stealing Jamaican culture.
You’re Jamaican?

see you looking at this wrong.I am black Jamaican immigrant and gave no fucks abt Adele. Most of us embraced it. These same folks don't have a problem with their women straightening their hair and getting blonde weave and killing themselves for these white owned Burkins and red bottoms but hating on Adele.
and 69 grew up in brooklyn and think its ok to say niggaAlso a lot of people is arrogantly ignoring the power of Jamaican culture globally.
Adele isn't influenced by her boyfriend she influenced because she grew up in London which is heavily influenced by Jamaican culture. Jamaica influence and impact around the world can't be ignored let's remember the music was declared by the UN as a global treasure
"Reggae is uniquely Jamaican," said Olivia Grange, the Caribbean island nation's culture minister, before the vote. "It is a music that we have created that has penetrated all corners of the world."
It wasn't an attack on black women. It was an attack on hypocrites.see you looking at this wrong.
you are attacking people who would like to look out for other black people.
jamaicans can do what they feel but some of us would like to protect all black people.
so your snipe at black women wasnt needed.
this is that divisive shit
its about perspective.
Your missing my point clearly calm your tone.and 69 grew up in brooklyn and think its ok to say nigga
whats the point here outside of we are disrespected all over?
or do we need to talk about influence now? cuz uh...where is it getting any of us?
we gotta stop celebrating white people that can hold a beat or grew up in the "slums" and celebrate us more and circle the wagons and get right

Were Africans and Jamaicans offended at movies like Coming to America and Cool Runnings?
It was a Carnival. A celebration of Caribbean culture. In an area with a large Caribbean diaspora.I ain't Jamaican but I disagree with the bold only cause that's just not what I see where I'm at.
When Adele did whatever it is she did. Was she in London or in Jamaica?
You do realize that a lot of white people when they visit places they cloak themselves in native garb and hairstyles, etc. but before they get on that plane or boat to go back to their white countries they take all that shit off and never wear those clothes or hairstyles in their white countries.
It's a reason for that and it ain't cause they love and/or respect that black culture. Black peoples culture and lifestyles was all just fun and games for them for that moment.
