I get reading between the lines but i promise you she was speaking as a matter of fact and not projecting anything

She was saying factually, that she doesn't get attention. I didn't take that as a request for attention as most did.

She said it in a surprising way but still she wasn't projecting a desire to get attention from randoms

No different than saying "ive never been robbed". Is that asking to be robbed?
