yea apparently the bite is one of the worst in terms of pain caused by a snake, they also have the largest fangs of any snake (up to 2 inches) and deliver the second most venom per bite behind the king cobra.

wouldn’t wanna accidentally step on one.

Nah this is to update the pain index (reference used for venomous animals to rate pain and lasting effects of the toxins).

personally wouldn’t do it myself but think it is a necessary thing to have, helps with the differentiation between highly venomous and deadly animals.

but I am a tarantula owner so maybe it piques my interest a little more as the index is used for potency of tarantula bites.
