Ehhh Embiid has gotten a lot of criticism over being out of shape, lazy, settling for jumpers, being out, etc over the years and in the playoffs before you were here the consensus was that Jokic was better
idk if superstars get that kinda criticism

right now he’s playing like one though

I don't consider Embiid a superstar.
Harden gets it all the time tho.
Melo got it.
Luka and jokic already get it. But that's just the European flow.
I'm sure it's a couple others I forgot off top.
You can't be a star if you can't lead your team to the playoffs, those guys have to go to the great player tier

Hunter continued his strong sophomore campaign with a career-high 33 points (13-for-21 from the field, 2-5 from 3, 5-6 FT), adding 4 assists and 4 rebounds. If embiid plays 70+ games in consecutive seasons with this current production I'll give him his superstar flowers but you just know at multiple points he's gonna miss 5+ games.
Who’s the star player for the kings? Who’s the perennial 2nd or 3rd option for the warriors?
Who has never carried the warriors anywhere for an extended stretch with opposing defenses planning to stop him?
Klay a HOF 3 and D player in a system tailored for him who will never get flack because he went through his whole career without having to be the man for a team so his legacy won’t take a hit.
and with him being hurt he will shave years off his career avoiding criticism
