The Official 2020/21 NBA Thread

damn really.. hopefully we get a full battle Friday then.. these games are always good tests.

Doubt it. Cs aren't deep enough and didn't even come close to getting a big to at least deal w Embiid for a bit...plus kemba still trying to get use to ish again...

Y'all ever think like with near death experiences we actually died in another reality but survived in this one? Like in another reality Pop Smoke is still alive? Like what if God signed an executive order in the 90s and we don't know it? Like it was decided already for us?

I've been thinking about this shit for weeks after almost dying

Nickeil Alexander-Walker>>>>Lonzo

I like Zo but he's expendable at this point....didn't get that extension done and NAW was insurance

I'm keeping zo over a 31-32 yr old eric Bledsoe on a potentially cheaper deal but maybe that's just me.

In a year where a lot of teams saved cap space for some niggas that's not available anymore lonzo gon be straight either way tho.

BBB.

Bledsoe 30 right now and in 2 years will be a 20 million dollar expiring contract..that's going to be useful

Why pay Lonzo when NAW is a year younger and better

He needs to be in a different system/team anyway imo

He's 31 right now.

What does paying lonzo now have to do with naw? I'm not understanding. They don't play the same position.

And being an expiring contract isn't really useful anymore if you aren't a strong contributor.

You're not flipping a 33 yr old bledsoe on an expiring for anything useful. Just more salary.

A 25 yr old lonzo at a similar salary >>>>>

They're avg virtually the same numbers while 1 has room to improve and the other is on a steady decline.

I am just hoping the Cs make it competitive and not get washed like the knicks did them the other night...

Big expiring contracts like that become valuable when you start talking about trying to trade for star talent...the Pelicans have plenty of picks to attach to that contract

Naw is a combo guard but he's the only other player besides BI who can run pick and roll

I just don't know what Zo does for this team offensively even in the long term considering Stan Van going to be there for a minute
