2020 NBA Draft thread

I know u are not high on my Nigerian brother, did any of this change your mind?

If those numbers are official it's a huge deal for his draft stock. For his size that's some serious athletic ability!!!!

Makes me also wonder why he wasn't as good at getting shot blocks and boards while at the University of Arizona though.

The 3pt shot is his swing skill. If he can get consistent on that, he will be one of the steals of the draft.

One name to keep an eye on with the Knicks in the second round? BYU power forward/center Yoeli Childs. The Knicks interviewed Childs recently, per SNY sources, and those sources said Childs has been making a strong impression during interviews with teams who have picks in the early/mid second round. The Knicks have the 38th pick in the second round. The club has interviewed dozens of players, so the fact that they interviewed Childs shouldn’t be blown out of proportion. But it does confirm that the club has a level of interest in the 6-8, 255-pound big man.

Daniel Oturu, who is 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds, shot 67.5 percent from three-point range (104 for 154) and 87 percent from the free throw line (87 for 100) at the P3 Sports Science facility in Santa Barbara, Calif. P3 Sports Science runs combine drills for the NBA Draft, which is scheduled to be held virtually Nov. 18. In other testing results, Oturu’s box lane agility drill (11.37 seconds), 3/4 court sprint (3.28 seconds), standing vertical jump (29.5 inches) and max vertical (35.5 inches) topped averages at his position from the 2019 NBA Draft combine in Chicago.

The Golden State Warriors would reportedly "strongly consider" drafting Villanova's Saddiq Bey if the team trades down in the draft, sources told Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.
"According to multiple league sources, Golden State would strongly consider Bey if it trades down to the mid- to late-lottery.
"His winning pedigree, defensive versatility, basketball IQ and offensive efficiency make him an intriguing option as a “3-and-D” wing in the Warriors’ system," reported Letourneau.
The 21-year-old Bey is currently ranked No. 18 in ESPN's Best Available.
The Warriors were most recently "blown away" by Dani Avdija's during his private workout.

any relation to Chris childs?

I don't truly know.

I'm going to guess he isn't because he is originally from Utah and according to Wikipedia, Chris Childs has a son but it isn't him and Chris and his family aren't from or reside in Utah. But you honestly don't know and wouldn't be surprised if some how they are kinda related.
