Setting everything up for when I come back from vacay
Your wife will need to go with you. She'll have to drive you home.
If you're like me and fairly resistant to local anesthesia, speak up if you feel anything when they get started. They had to shoot me up 3-4 times before I was completely numb.
You will be awake, and you will hear and smell everything.
It will feel like someone kicked you in the nuts for at least a week or two. Tylenol will become your friend if you have to go to work, Vicodin will be everything when you get to the crib.
Don't do any heavy lifting for at least 2-3 weeks or you'll pop your stitches. It happened to me, the shit ain't cool at all.
Vicodin will prolly have you on your ass most of the day. Just relax, lay out on the couch and watch tv or some shit... Or sleep, that's what I did for that first weekend.
9 times out of 10 it'll be done on a Friday so you have the weekend to rest up before going back to work.
Let your male co-workers know what happened, chances are there's at least one considering it and he'll have questions.
Take the vicodin or whatever painkiller they prescribe, its the
only way to get through the recovery phase.
