Exactly. You cant tell people to abandon their current way of life without providing an alternative. And it's going to have to include multiple alternatives because not everybody is at the same stage in life so not everybody can afford, literally and figuratively, to sacrifice the same things.

In order for us to get anywhere at all, we gotta stop the back and forth and agree on one single major point. Which is that we deserve and will demand specific tangibles for us. Full stop. Who care whether its dem or reps that do it, as long as it gets done

No anti black racism will be tolerated. Part of staying on code is the strength in numbers. It has to be uncool to shit on each in the media and public eye

We have to become more self sufficient. In terms of protecting ourselves, feeding ourselves and building our communities. Arm yourself, learn to garden and hunt. Buy land, have contingency plans in place with your family and loved ones. Help build up our individual communities by doing even the smallest of things. Hell cutting the grass in a vacant lot is little effort but can have big impact

Stop falling for symbolism. Fuck focusing on who likes hiphop culture when it comes to business. What are you going to do for us? That should be our only concern. A black face with not black action is useless. We need to weed them out

Make yourself visible to your local administrations. Pick up the phone and call your mayor. Holla at you police cheif, your council ppl, state reps. These ppl work for us. They are not unapproachable nor above reprimand. Trust me, I took my concerns to my local police commissioner and state rep face to face when I had the chance and I'm staying engaged. They don't want stand up black men on their heads. Believe that

Its high time we get our community in order. No knock against our beautiful strong sistas AT ALL. But they've been the face of our community for too long. They may never understand it, but in the face of WS thats weakness. The brothas gon have to step the fuck up and work this shit out. Once our sistas see that they will follow suit. They desire that even the ones who don't know they do.

There is no evidence to backup you claim that Democrats haven't done shit for black people.

I mean this is the most respectful way possible, but how the fuck are black people even able to survive in America today? Are you telling me that we don't have any political power yet somehow someway here we are. Still here and better than we've ever been. You can't explain how we got to where we are.

You keep saying other groups as if black people are one group. Black people are more than one group. I'm a black man. I'm also a father. I'm also a veteran. I'm also a government employee. I'm also just barely above the poverty line. I have friends who are black and gay. I have friends who are Black and Latino. Which group do they fall under? What about black people who are senior citizens? What about black people who are rich? What about black people who are veterans?

When you say tangibles for Black people which Black people are you specifically talking about?

I havent rejected anything. If the alternatives are there then you should have no problem pointing them out. I clearly said I'm open to them but it's rare that they're presented and even more so rare they're presented in a logical manner and not "fuck the dems stay home dont give them your vote". And even more rare do they take into account that not all Black folks hold the same views or ideas on how to get where we need to be. I literally just said this in a thread yesterday a huge problem is people not understanding that theres multiple ways of achieving a goal and just because it's not your way dont make it any more right or wrong than somebody else's.

Ok so you dont give them your vote...then what? If Republicans win again and continue to drag the country down even further then what? You didn't give Dems your vote and now the daily and future lives of Black folks are in more of a peril. They out here putting judges in life time positions that will make decisions that will shape this country and world for decades to come. And you think Black people wont feel that worse than anyone else? Asking Black folks to sacrifice in a society and world that already puts us on the back burner to have even less is asking a tall task. It's a hard sale to make. And it's not wrong to ask how people are going to be taken care of and protected in the interim while waiting for this change that will come from simply holding out.
