but i saw that kanye helped black people but then other times made himself look foolish.
he spoke in our favor and spoke shit that made no sense.
i have to look at myself and ask.....what was more important?

unless you are down right hurting black people.......we dont know whats in a persons head at the time they say dumb shit or shit we dont agree with. everyone is not always fully in control.

Biden released a plan for MINORITIES not for only black people. That is the difference in what I believe most folks is getting at. Black should demand shit only for us. Trump nor Biden is going to do that but I ain't going to be mad at a nigga for asking either of them for that though.

For me.. if they win... and during their time in office they arent progressive enough for ME... in the primaries I wont be voting for them and will be trying to get someone nominated that's more progressive

That's fair... and I agree that plan was nowhere near what it should be for black people.

At the same time... if we fundamentally disagree on most, if not all things with the current party in power.. do we just bury our heads in the sand and not engage at all until it's time to vote again or what?

Cube took an L on this one for sure... but im not gonna fault him for throwing a hail mary and seeing if there was something to be gained by talking with these assholes

This with the tweak that first we'd have to demand that they be primaried because incumbent presidents don't usually have to go through primaries.

Shit, you could make the argument that the plan wasn't even for minorities. Like that snippet I posted could conceivably benefit more white people than non-whites depending on how its executed.

I don't need a black specific agenda right now. It would be nice for a politician to have one and I applaud those that are fighting for and demanding it. I'm just of the mind now that the country is in bad enough shape that I can't hate on a politician prioritizing fixing the nation over pandering to any one group. I just believe that if a politician is going to go in that direction, he should be honest about it. Don't give me a plan for black people that won't necessarily do any more for blacks than it does for everyone else.

Let's just be real about shit. Voting isn't even how folks really get shit accomplished in this so called democracy we have.

None of you have ever found it strange that the rich and wealthy black people who always around election time screaming for black people to go vote never go to black people and scream lets start a PAC for a real home grown black candidate?

Money gets shit done in politics not fucking votes but nobody ever really wants to have that conversation.

On more than one occasion here I've posted that study from Princeton or Harvard that proves we don't have a real democracy and a high majority the time politicians vote the way the money that put them into office wants them to vote.

Yet we still here year after fucking year berating our own people to vote for a group people who couldn't give a fuck less about us. Just because they fake like they care and the other group flat out tells us fuck yall.

As always FUCK TRUMP & FUCK BIDEN

My morals and character won't allow me reconcile with actually voting for a evil just because its so called less evil than the other choice that's been forced on me.

That's is really my point cause now we see white women are the biggest beneficiaries of affirmative action. So ain't no reason to believe Biden's plan ain't going to work out the exact same way.

I agree with nearly all of your points... but me personally.. I still have to make the decision to cast my vote for who I think is going to do less harm to me, my family and folks that look like us.. so we'll just disagree on that last part but on all the other points you made I'm with you
