I’m not combing through all the tweets from the summer. I posted three articles and more than a few media types were speculating if Cam would win the job. I can’t help if you ain’t see them or ain’t got Twitter

It was never a question or doubt to BB, he just played it close to the vest (like he usually does) and he had a few of these "experts" thinking it was closer than it really was.

Doubt it(where's the post) and please don't be that guy that judges Stidham who has only played about 3 quarters of NFL football. Not saying he is gonna be good..just I'm reading people's takes after the game everywhere and everyone acting like the kid was drafted number 1 and was going to come out the gate firing.

Nah you right. There were a bunch of takes from dumbest people saying it was going to be a QB competition in NE.

If he is healthy enough to just be good with that coach. That's impactful.

I judged him for being the 3rd string QB. I didn't pay attention to y'alls depth chart... just knew Cam was the starter. I figured when he missed the game Stidham was gonna start though. Him being behind Hoyer says a lot IMO. It's his second season. Being good enough to be second string over Hoyer isn't setting an unrealistic standard.

Aren't you reading too much into his status right now on the team and my comment?

1. You have no idea why BB had him as the emergency QB. After all he sat Damian Harris a whole year last year and Harris wasn't even injured. Comes into his first game and runs for a 100 yards.

2. Same with the "weak QB" room comment clearly he(BB) like what he had or knew Cam was going to be available to not draft a QB. Overall maybe BB didn't want any of the QBs left to draft. Are any of the QBs he could of drafted lighting anything up right now?

And you are judging him (Stidham) after BARELY playing a quarter of football or you would of never brought this convo up in the first place.
