I remember that's something Bully Ray mentioned about his promos. He got bullet points and just took it from there.

Yeah b/c the main problem wit scripted, the wrestler spends more time tryin to remember. Rather than injecting their personality. Not everyone can "act".

I remember Rhonda got booed during her scripted promo, and she couldnt finish. They had to send Bayley out. But I THINK (not sure) later that nite on Raw, she cut another one. You can tell they let her do her. That shyt was so pure, unscripted, and scathing. So it seems like from there...they gave her freedom.

Yeah Ronda promo and follow up is exactly why people who naturally talk well should be getting bullet points. I remember those promos your talking about to a T.
 
When Talking Smack was announced to make its return, the hosts were advertised as Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods. The only problem is that the WWE forgot to inform someone – Xavier Woods. Since no one had told him he’d be hosting their new show, Woods was not on hand for the taping. The Miz took over as host and is expected to remain on the show.

Woods is still nursing an Achilles injury that he suffered late in 2019. He was expected to be out of action to around a year and should be back any time now. Woods was recently asked about his return, but answered that it’s being kept a secret at this time.
