My argument against Lupe isn't about his bars, eventhough I think non battle rap fans hype a lot of simple shit Lupe says. My argument has always been his ability to make good MUSIC.


I've never said Daylyt makes good music, his freestyles are fire tho.



Most importantly, Lupe is no where near as good as Lyt lyrically.

Lupe makes great lyrics for music...but butt battles

Lupe also struggles with separating his art or his love for the art from the business side which is why most people dont check for him like that. Drogas Wave is a FIRE album with no radio/streaming friendly songs. Not one, but that doesnt take away from his ability as an emcee
