Know what's funny, a while back I was watching CNN. During the show, one of their younger correspondents was touting a twitter poll about what I think was maybe the Obama vs McCain election.
The rest of the correspondents laugh at the younger one for suggesting anyone should care about the opinions of random people on twitter.
Now, news organizations cap their stories with a peanut gallery of twitter users as support for whatever case they are making.
That's funny to me that this thing that reasonable people thought was a idiotic use of support for facts, is now the one if not the most prominent use of random support as fact.
Imagine...really..what was the IC became the official voice of authority for the world. Think about that..we all loved the IC..would you have wanted the IC to influence laws and policy?
